This Privacy Policy explains how k4d("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use https://www.k4d.ioand related subdomains and products (the "Service"). It is meant for MoonX Compliance links and for anyone who wants a straight answer about data.
1. Who processes data
k4d operates the Service. Authentication, passkeys, and embedded wallets are provided by MoonX. Optional agent funding and credential grants may involve PayBox. Card on-ramps may involve MoonPay. Those providers process data under their own policies when you use their surfaces.
2. Information we collect
Account and identity
- Identifiers from MoonX sessions (for example user id, email when provided by email OTP or OAuth)
- App session cookies we set after verifying a MoonX access token
Product data
- Escrow: deal metadata (parties, amounts, status, timestamps, wallet addresses you associate with a deal)
- Pay: tip-link configuration, unlock state, related payment references
- Sign: wall configuration and signed guestbook entries you choose to publish
Technical data
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps)
- Theme preference stored locally in your browser
- Security and fraud signals if captcha or similar controls are enabled in MoonX
We do not
- Hold your MoonX wallet private keys (keys stay passkey / MPC gated)
- Ask for seed phrases
- Sell personal information
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service
- Create and operate escrow, pay, and sign features you request
- Authenticate sessions and prevent abuse
- Debug outages and investigate security incidents
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
4. Sharing
We share information with:
- Infrastructure processors (for example hosting such as Vercel) that run the Service under our instructions
- MoonX / PayBox / MoonPay and similar providers when you use their features
- Public blockchains when you sign or send transactions — those records are public by design
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
Sign-wall entries and any content you mark public are visible to others by design.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies or similar storage for authenticated app sessions (httpOnly where applicable), unlock state for paid content where the product requires it, and local theme preference. We do not run a third-party ad tracker as part of the core product.
6. Retention
We retain account and product records for as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. On-chain data remains on public networks indefinitely and is outside our control. Server logs are kept for a limited operational window unless needed for security or legal reasons.
7. Security
We use industry-standard protections (TLS in transit, access controls, passkey step-up via MoonX for sensitive wallet ops). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your email, devices, and passkeys.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International transfers
The Service may be hosted and processed in the United States or other countries where our processors operate. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand information may be transferred to those locations.
10. Your choices
- Sign out / clear site data in your browser
- Revoke OAuth access via your Google or Apple account settings
- Manage passkeys on your devices and in MoonX flows
- Revoke PayBox clients and grants in PayBox
- Contact us to request deletion of Service-held account data where applicable (we may retain limited records as required by law; on-chain data cannot be erased by us)
11. Region-specific rights
Depending on where you live (for example EEA/UK GDPR or certain U.S. state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise rights, contact the operators of k4d via https://www.k4d.io. We may need to verify your request.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
